Architects

The project offers owners of historical buildings in Lviv’s old city quarters cost-free consultations on how to carry out renovations. Advice is given by local architects and engineers, and ensures that the work is technically appropriate, historically sensitive and cost effective.

In order to enable local architects and engineers to provide this service in the best possible way, the project carried out seminars, during which, among other things, trainees were given the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of consultation procedures. Together with the project’s own architects, trainees approached the owners of 3 buildings in the historical old town, in Tschaikovskoho Str. 25, Staroyevrejska Str. 26 and Lysenka Str. 3, that were suffering from typical types of problem. They analyzed the condition of the buildings, entered their findings on a standardized form, and developed feasibilities for the needed renovations.
